We're seeking an interim Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end transition of HRIS and payroll services at a fast-growing FX business. This fixed-term role requires someone who can hit the ground running, work autonomously, and deliver the project on time while maintaining quality, compliance, and alignment across all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end HRIS and payroll transition project, including planning, governance, and risk management

  • Act as primary liaison with the selected vendor and coordinate internal stakeholders (HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, Legal)

  • Lead requirements gathering, document current and future processes, and oversee data migration and reconciliation

  • Manage all testing phases, including system testing, UAT, and parallel payroll runs

  • Develop and deliver change management, communication, and training materials

  • Oversee go‑live readiness, cutover, and post‑implementation hypercare to ensure smooth transition to business-as-usual operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience managing HRIS or payroll implementation/transition projects

  • Strong understanding of payroll operations, HR systems, data migration, and integrations

  • Skilled in project planning, stakeholder management, and vendor coordination

  • Ability to work autonomously, at pace, and deliver high-quality outputs to tight deadlines

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and familiarity with project management tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)

  • Experience in fixed-term or time-bound project delivery is desirable
