Operating across touring, retail, licensing, e-commerce and custom supply throughout the UK and Europe, this fast-paced and growing business is looking for a proactive finance professional to support the Finance Manager in the day-to-day running of the finance function.

The Role

The Accounts Assistant will support across a broad range of finance duties, including but not limited to:

  • Matching invoices to purchase orders and ensuring accurate coding
  • Processing purchase and sales invoices
  • Reconciling purchase ledger entries to supplier statements
  • Chasing overdue debtors
  • Setting monthly exchange rates
  • Matching EU import documentation to invoicing
  • Posting journals
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Assisting with year-end preparation
  • Supporting with ad-hoc financial tasks as required

About You

We're looking for someone organised, detail-oriented and eager to grow within a supportive finance team.

You will have:

  • Intermediate Excel skills (including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs)
  • QuickBooks knowledge (advantageous but not essential)
  • Multi-currency experience
  • Strong attention to accuracy and detail
  • The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • A positive, proactive attitude
  • A genuine eagerness to learn and develop new skills
