Group Financial Accountant - SportGlobal Sport company uniquely positioned to bring together technology, creative, agency, talent and media are looking for a qualified ACA, ACCA, CIMA Group Financial Accountant to join their Central London team.Duties & Responsibilities:Group FinanceCoordinate and communicate month end timetables to groupManaging period close in NetsuiteIntercompany reconciliation and eliminationPrepare and maintain schedules for group balance sheet i.e. fixed assets, goodwill, intangibles, shares/investments, deferred tax, NCIManaging Netsuite and Adaptive chart of accountsReportingCoordinate and collate subsidiary submissions, review and query with subsidiaries, prepare reportsGroup month end P&L and balance sheetGroup Cash flow consolidationExternal FinancePreparation of support and notes for statutory accountsReview of subsidiary statutory accounts (with Group FC)Review of local GAAPs to AASB (e.g. lease calculations)Assisting with group audit queriesOtherAd hoc support across the Group's Finance, Legal and HR functionsSkills & Credentials:Qualified accountant with 0-2 years post-qualification experienceKnowledge or experience of media and/or sporting industry preferredPrevious experience within group reporting preferredPrevious experience with Netsuite preferredRefined oral and written communication skills including email, phone, and video conferencing mannerismsFluent written communication is particularly important with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders.Strong ability to convey ideas and technicalities with great interpersonal skills, particularly with senior members within the leadership teamStakeholder management skills, understanding the various audiences you will interact both internally and externallyAbility to collaborate with various stakeholders where required to achieve common goals and meet timelinesExceptional organisation, particularly planning and delivering on timeAbility to work autonomously monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects as well as regular monthly tasks.
